It’s been awhile since I’ve bought any gear but I got excited about Summer riding so I bought a pair of riding jeans!

I know, I know, they’re so light. I wish they were darker but I just can’t get over the fit. They’re so comfortable on me. I tried my other favorite pair of Revit jeans, the Motos but they were just too tight in the knees/calves.

Although Revit offers 4 different women’s jeans, I like these the best since they’re lighter overall in terms of weight and fit my knees / calves more comfortably in the seated position. Most riding jeans are fine for me when I stand but as soon as I sit down and lift my feet up onto my footpegs, they’re normally too tight.

FITMENT

The jeans are lightweight and a little stretchy but not too much. As far as sizing for these, they’re ideal if you have a waist and hip measurement that is no more than ~6” larger from each other because then you’ll get the waist gapping that can’t be minimized. These jeans unfortunately are cut really straight, with a rather loose waist fit. That works well for me since my measurements are only 5” apart from each other from my waist to my hips. The knees are perfectly seated even when standing (which I prefer).

I have fat / muscles in my calves that are larger than most women my height / size so I often have trouble getting my legs in most jeans that are US 2 / 27. These fit me so perfectly I couldn’t say no, even if the color isn’t exactly my favorite.

The size I bought is 27 and my measurements are 32-33” Belly (where I button my jeans), 37.5” hips and 28.5” inseam. These are undoubtedly too long but I am going to fold them and wear them inside my Dainese Boots. for short rides to work or around town. Sure, I’d love it if they were bootcut then they would be this weird flared fit that I don’t care enough about. These are so comfortable to sit and bend my knees in that I’m perfectly willing to compromise.

In the photo above, I’m wearing them a size up, 28, because I’m wearing thick thermals.

When it comes to gear, my comfort is utmost on a physical level. I’ll often say no to a piece of gear that looks amazing but just isn’t comfortable for me to ride in.

That’s a distraction that I just refuse to have while I’m riding.
