Gorgeous Helmet

As some of you may know, Scorpion helmets are an awesome helmet in the less than $400/Shoei/Arai range. For the price, this helmet is an amazing deal. There are currently 2 types, the ex 400 and ex 700. The 700 is a little pricier at ~$200-$250, compared to the 400 which runs less than $200.

There's this new style of the 700 called the Black Dahlia that I think you will all LOVE. I wish my head were bigger, because I'd ditch my arai and go with the 'Black Dahlia'. It's only $209.95 on NewEnough.Com!

Open House! Sat. April 21st!

If you're in San Francisco, come on by to Scuderia West located at Duboce between Valencia and Mission. Today was the lady's open house where we had some crazy markdowns on Dainese leather jackets (less than $300!!!) and some great Cortech textile jackets for less than $150!!!

Crazy. A new jacket that's selling like hotcakes is the R'evit Angel, part of the Engineered Skin line. oooo. It's tailored perfectly to a woman's body. If you have hips and a waist, or if you're petite (size 2-4), this is the jacket for you! Totally waterproof, with a zip out liner.

And the sizing runs big. So if you're a 42 Dainese, you'll be a 38 R'evit Angel. It also comes in a cute version with red accents (where the light gray is on the shoulder of this pic). I am secretly coveting this jacket. *drool*

FINALLY!!! Gearchic.com is up.

Well I finally managed to upload a portion of my website. About 3/4, to be exact. I thought I should upload what I have and then keep blogging like mad as I add more and more bits and pieces of information. I just hope I can churn out enough content for everyone to enjoy! Between working at my 'real' job and my other part time gigs, I'm having a hard time being motivated at 9:30pm at night to write. But I am 200% committed to my site and refuse to allow it to die a horrible death in the wasteland of the internet.

Busy Busy Busy

Sadly, that's me. My 'real' job of office slave is getting ridiculously busy. We're having an event in Spain in 3 weeks and my time is getting sucked up quicker than I can exhale. I'm hoping to work on my site this weekend and hopefully have something substantial to have ready by then. Why must I have a real job? Why can't I just blog all day long and get paid for it or something? Thank goodness I haven't been teaching any MSF classes this month, otherwise I'd be wiped out. I've been working the last few weekends at Scuderia, studying up as much as I can to further enrich myself about women's motorcycle gear.

Speaking of gear, this Friday and Saturday is a massive open house at my 3rd part time/seasonal job, Scuderia West in San Francisco. I'm learning lots about Rev'it, Olympia and Dainese women's gear while working there. Okay, I'm learning a ton about the men's stuff too, but that's besides the point! I just discovered that Cortech has a textile jacket called the LRX that comes in 5 colors, has a zip out liner and retails for only $129.99 and even comes in a plus size small, medium and large! (It looks like it could be leather, but it really is textile).
