Alpinestars Stella Ice
- Sizes S-XXL
- $$$

Love it! Nice Protection. GREAT fit, hugs the curves of the body, but not too tight. I usually wear mine without the thermal vest.
The large interior pocket on the left is nice, I put my money, credit cards, and money there. The left and right exterior pockets are handy for garage control, cell phone, loose change, and mints. The back protector with the foam pad is not very thick and I will probably look into getting the CE certified RC back protector soon. The waist has two zippers, one on each side, so you can zip up if you want a looser fit.
The front vents are nice, but not very effective on a 90+ deg day. I usually wear this jacket on colder rides. On a hot day, it is very difficult to take off this jacket because it just sticks to your skin. The back vent is very lage and rests right below the shoulders. I highly recommend this jacket. My boyfriend borrowed my jacket and did a slow speed drop in the parking lot and landed on his left elbow (on my jacket) and there is no scratch whatsoever. Wow!
One thing I have to complain about is the sizing. All the sizes are so small I had to buy an XL!
Thanks to Joanne L. (Body Type: height-> 5'8", weight~ 161 lb) for providing this review! And it definitely does run small. I highly recommend this jacket for very petite riders wearing US size 0-2.
Updated: If you're looking for a heavier duty jacket, try the Stella TX-1, which has a little perforation on the front and back of the jacket. The sizing is a little different, starting at Euro 38 which is the equivalent to a US 0-2. I have found this fits a lot of smaller women as well,
who are size 0-2 on top.
