Sidi Tepor Jasmine Boots

As a taller (5'11") rider, I need the opposite of what most women riders do in a boot -- a lower heel, so that I can easily shift without my long legs and boot heel getting tangled up in something! My Frye motorcycle boots that I've had for 10 years weren't doing it, and again I wanted something non-leather, and also waterproof. The Jasmine boot is Cordura and Lorica (leatherlike, waterproof material). I was concerned when I got these that they would be too small -- I wear a size 10-10.5, but the first few times I put them on, my toes complained and my left ankle had a pressure point. I hung onto them for a few days, disgruntled at the thought of having to return them (the next size up -- men's -- would be too wide for me, as my foot is narrow). But when I put them on to ride for the weekend, they felt perfect -- and have been amazing ever since. Haven't had a chance yet to test out their protective value; with luck I will never have to -- but they make me feel very secure.

Edit: These are expandable at the calves, and are sure to fit if you haven't found a boot that fits them.
