I'm from the East Bay, been motorcycling for (cough!) 20 years, and still love it. The sequence of motorcycles has been:
1. Yamaha Virago 535
2. Honda Pacific Coast (800 cc)
3. Kawasaki Voyager (1200 cc)
4. GoldWing 1500
5. GoldWing 1500 with a Pacific Coast as a commuter bike
6. BMW 1150RT (my mid-life crisis bike -- I was too short!)
7. GoldWing 1800
8. GoldWing 1800
I've been a member of two national GoldWing organizations and two women's motorcycle clubs, been a motorcycle safety training instructor, leader of a GoldWing Drill Team, run a motorcycle tour company, traveled coast to coast with 3 friends, and continue to ride as much as possible. (Twist my arm, I'll go on a ride.)
I've just lost a bunch of weight in the last year, and have a fleet of plus-size motorcycle gear to sell, so watch for my upcoming posts. I'm not looking for huge prices, but need to unload leather jackets, chaps, textile three season and summer jackets and pants.
