- Can't remember how I found this, but it's a chart for jacket sizing with about a dozen manufacturers. Only a few women's brands are listed, however.

- New Enough
- NewEnough.com does have a "hard to fit" recommendations page which pulls up mostly sizing for men's gear, but it's helpful if you are looking for a men's garment.
- Plus Size Gear Recommendations
- This is a link to the Cycle Angels' forum on CycleForums.com. A great thread on recommendations from your fellow female riders looking for gear that fits a curvier, full-sized body. Mostly G-Line and Teknic carry sizes up to 20. These are Leather jackets, not textile! Cortech does have sizes up to 18 in their textile LRX Jacket (for less than $150).

History of Female Riders
Harley Davidson - This is a wonderful series Harley has on their website about the earliest female riders on record, going back to the early 1900s including the first African-American woman to travel across country solo on a motorcycle. Her name was Bessie Stringfield and she was only 19 when she did it!

- Just Gotta Scoot
- May 21, 2009. David from JustGottaScoot and I have a great conversation about why wearing gear on a scooter is just as important as being on a motocycle. If you are crazy about Scooters, you'll want to tune into his scooter related podcasts.
- Friction Zone Magazine
- Friction Zone is a great magazine, covering everything from motorcycle reviews to recommended rides across the Pacific Northwest. They're currently available in 17 states or you can purchase a monthly subscription. "Friction Zone is the only motorcycle magazine—print or internet-based—that includes official motorcycle accident reports". And, the editor is a woman by the name of Kate Edwards who always writes a very informative, smart editorials in every issues. I've also had the pleasure to meet her at the Int'l Motorcycle Show in 2005. She has years of experience and knowledge to share with all of us. Definitely try to check out an issue.
- Road Runner Magazine
- "RoadRUNNER Magazine is dedicated to serving active motorcycle enthusiasts by providing them with a comprehensive resource of national and international tours, exciting and picturesque new places to ride, and valuable information on new motorcycles and products that enhance their riding experience." And, the editor and most of the staff are women!
- Urban Moto
- Urban Moto is a San Francisco based newspaper, dedicated to urban motorcycling news within the city. They've started to make themselves available across the US in a city near you. Urban Moto is "America’s #1 guerrilla motorcycle magazine, printed monthly in the Bay Area, California, distributed FREE worldwide". They do an annual women's issue, dedicated to extraordinary women who ride. Best part, is it's free!
- SideStandUp is a weekly radio show all about motorcycles! On the first Tuesday of each month, tune in while I cover everything related to gear, including reviews, recommendations and advice about how to find it. On the second Tuesday of each month, tune in to hear Denise Maple, founder of VaVaVroom cover issues and topics relevant to women riders today. And finally, on the fourth Tuesday, tune in to hear my friend, Carla King talk about all the motorcycle adventures she has had, and how she does it. You can download all the past SSU podcasts on iTunes here. Or if you're not an iTunes kind of person, you can go to the Talkshoe website and listen from there.

- My segment starts at about 01:00:27 (1 hr, 27 minutes, towards the end of the show). This is the Mother's Day special where all the guests featured were interesting and cool women sharing lots of different perspectives on riding.

- This segment starts at about 00:33:00 minutes in. It can be quite difficult to find the right helmet, especially when it comes to fit. Even if you've been riding for 5-10-20 years, you need to tune in and check to see if you're wearing the right helmet. If you haven't been riding for very long, then you want to tune in so you can find the perfect helmet.
